Keep It Simple: Focus on What You're Doing and Simplify Your Workouts
Philosophy: Easy, Correct, Enjoyable
Hold on a second. Are you truly focused on what you're doing? Are you paying attention to your sets? Are you giving your tricep extensions and bench press the full effort they deserve? Are you walking with as much intention as possible, not just going through the motions?
When I talk about walking, I’m not asking you to over-focus on a simple walk. I’m asking you to go longer, to keep up a certain pace. But remember, it’s not about complexity. It’s about focusing on the simple, profound matters of life and doing them well.
Pause and ask yourself: What’s the intention?
If you're constantly adding sets, extending time, or throwing in all sorts of variations without genuinely trying on the initial work, you’re creating a diluted mess. Three sets can be enough when you’re focused. Five sets can be more than sufficient without piling on excessive volume. It’s not about doing more; it’s about getting the most out of the least amount of effort. No junk volume. Just pure, intentional execution.
The path here is one of longevity. It’s about understanding that life can change through consistency, yes—but it’s the execution that makes the real difference. Don’t waste your time on unnecessary work because you didn't give it your all the first time.
Does that make sense? Focus on what matters, put in the effort where it counts, and avoid the trap of mindless volume. That’s where true growth happens.
